Swim

Did a swim this morning.

The pool is supposed to open at 6:00am, with the building opening at 5:45am so people can get changed and ready and then at 6:00am the doors from the changerooms to the pool are opened. Usually these doors open a couple of minutes late (although the clock in the pool says they open on time).

This morning we were driving into the pool parking lot at about 5 minutes after 6 (pretty close to the normal time for us) and a car was tailgating us through the parking lot. After we parked and they parked M saw the person from that car run out of the car and into the building wearing shorts (it was less than -10C this morning) and carrying a whistle. Of course, this person turned out to be the lifeguard and he was very late. By the time we changed and go on to the pool deck the lane ropes weren't even in...

Anyway, the swim for today. Pretty light for me, M did a little more.

~200m other stuff
200m cool down

1400m total.

Started feeling a little tired during that 200m muscular endurance. I planned to do another 200m of muscular endurance but I didn't have the time or energy to do it.
